How these guides are made
How the guides on Boat Covers Outlet are written and checked, where their facts come from, and how errors are corrected.
This page explains how the guides are made, so you can judge how far to rely on them.
How guides are written
Every guide starts from a written brief: the question it answers, the search terms people use for it, what the pages that already rank for it cover, and the facts it is allowed to state. Guides are drafted with the help of AI writing tools working from that brief. They are not presented as the work of a named boat builder or canvas maker, and no page claims that its writers fitted, tested or owned a product.
Sources and checks
Figures and safety statements come from a fact sheet compiled from primary sources, and each guide lists the sources it relies on. Before a guide is published it passes automated checks (every figure against the fact sheet, no brands, no prices, no broken links) and then a separate adversarial read of the whole page against its sources. A guide that fails is corrected or held back.
Corrections
Errors are corrected when they are found, and the "Updated" date changes only when the content changes.
